Political Cutz partnered with Dylan Taylor, a lecturer in sociology at Victoria University of Wellington, to produce a survey and report around the 2017 event and the general concepts underpinning it.

 

The Cutz salons present a unique opportunity for studying peoples political attitudes and hopes, which the survey has allowed us to document and analyse. Utilising the knowledge and skills of a researcher has allowed us to collate meaningful data that can be used and reported in many ways. We are also able to adapt the surveys for our future work and use the results comparatively. This partnership has bought another element of thinking to our project, and it adds to the ongoing conversation that each salon contributes to.
