Local body politics needs a huge shot of energy, so in 2016 we opened a ‘meet the candidates’ hair salon one evening at Vogelmorn Bowling Club

 

The backdrop of this election was the hotly contested WCC Mayoral contest, plus we wanted  to give some space to candidates from the ward, GWRC and the DHB.. A theatrical take on the usual meet the candidates with all candidates receiving a brief trim while they introduced their candidacy to the eager audience.
